He glared at her pissed off about the charges against him.

"I'm here to get my stuff. I don't have my keys."

He had figured she wouldn't let him in. He called the police station and asked if a car could be sent to be there so he could get his things. He waited for the police to arrive then knocked on the door.

"Scarlette, will you please let me in to get my things? An officer will be coming in with me."

He got his things and sat them by the door. He turned and looked at Scarlette. There was a lot that he wanted to say to her but couldn't because of the cop being there.
