He shook his head.

"I understand why you did what you've done. I can't blame you."

She smiled a bit as she looked at him as she was thinking about it. 

Claire: Thank you for being so understanding..

He looked at her and shrugged.

"You used to love me when we were kids. It was when family got involved that things got messed up."

He gave her a small smile.

"I'm still the same guy that you used to love."

She looked at him when he said that as she was thinking about it... There familes did mess up so much, and made them move apart, she sighed as she was thinking about it.

Claire: I hate our fathers... They ruien everything..

He wrapped his arms around her from behind and held her back against him.

"They can't get to us in here. I've made sure of that."

She leaned back against him as she was thinking about it, happy to hear that as she rubbed his had a bit as he held her.

Claire: Good.

He rested his head on her shoulder thinking about everything.

"I'm glad that you and Becca are here. "

She leaned against him as she was thinking about it as she was glad that she was here as well. 

Claire: I'm glad we're here too.

He kissed her cheek.

"I'm not going to force anything on you, Claire. I want you and Becca to have the time you need to grieve. You lost your husband and friend, and she lost her father. You both need time."
