He grinned as he walked slowly around the room watching her.

"Hello, Stacy."

He frowned as he watched her.

"Why are you wanting to cry?"

He frowned as he listened to her.

"What in the hell are you talking about?"

He saw her leg and frowned.

"What happened to you?"

He moved closer to her.

"Answer me, Stacy."

He sat on the bed beside her.

"You need to talk to me, Stacy."

He shook his head.

"You must have me mistaken for my brother. I didn't do this. I'd never hurt you."

He frowned and looked at her.

"Look around you, Stacy. You are home. Where else would I take you?"

He frowned when she said that.

"When did you move? This is where we were living before I left."

He shook his head.

"I know my wife, Stacy. I don't know what game you are playing, but it's over. If there is someone else, just tell me now."

He felt her trembling and wrapped his arms around her. He held her against his chest rubbing her back.

"Why are you so scared? What did they do to you?"

He looked down at her and sighed.

"Why won't you talk to me, Stacy?"

He frowned as he watched her.

"Stacy, please. I love you. I am worried. Very worried. Please talk to me."

He nodded and lifted her into his arms. He carried her to the truck and strapped her in carefully.

Once back at the hospital, he carried her inside.

He stayed calm even though he was pissed. Once he got things straightened out and they realized that they did have the wrong person like he had been saying all along, he was let go.

He went back to the hospital to check on his wife.

Bella was standing at the hospital as she had been asked to go there, and hold off BD until Drake got there.

Bella: Why do you keep going after her?  Drake got you out of jail, and you were suppose to leave her alone.

She asked looking at him, wondering why he was still wanting to mess with her.  She knew how much he hated her family, but wow, this was getting to be a  bit crazy, even for BD.  She saw him grin a bit.

Bella: You're going to get yourself into a lot of trouble, and Drake isn't going to be able to keep getting you out of it.

She frowned thinking about it, as she didn't want to see him get killed or anything..

He looked at her and sighed.

"She is my wife, Bella. I do love her. Everything she thinks that I did, I did not do to her. The police have proof of that. I just want to have a quiet life with the woman I love and am married to."

She looked at him as she rolled her eyes.

Bella: You don't have to give me that line of bullshit... I know all about it.

He looked at her.

Bella: Drake sent me to stall until he gets here.

She moved closer.

Bella: He moved Stacy.

He said so no one could hear them talk. 

Bella: He's coming to pick us up..

He was pissed now.

"You all are wrong. I have done nothing fucking wrong. You will all see this and regret what you are doing."

She looked at him as she rolled her eyes a bit.

Bella: Just wait, Drake can explain to you why you don't remember.... Why you think it's not you,and why you were able to get out of jail.

She said as she had helped , didn't realize the drugs would be that strong, and with him still being attached to Stacy they had thought it wore off, but it just made him not realize it was him.  She moved a bit, as she showed him the proof that it was him, and then told him what Drake had done.

Bella: He was just trying to protect you.  He was afraid you would kill her and go away for murder, so the idea was it was suppose to make you forget all about her, but it didn't work out so well.

She said as she watched him looking at the proof.

Bella: We was going to make her forget too, but you took her before we could do what was needed.

She said as he was understanding now.

He looked at everything frowning.

"I love her, Bella. She is everything to me."

She looked at him as she was thinking about it.

Bella: You didn't love her when you started all this...

She thought about it a moment.

Bella: Maybe it's the drugs... Maybe the same will work for her when she wakes up.

She said as the drugs were the same so it could have the same effect...

He felt so alone at the moment.

"Where is she? What is Drake doing to her?"

She looked at him when asked.

Bella: He's taking her to a safe place, he's coming for us when he has her settled in.

She said as she was thinking about it.

Bella: If you're with me, they won't think you took her, and they'll leave you alone.  

She said also knowing they wouldn't think to question Drake, about her wear abouts.   After a bit, he finally showed up as they all headed out, and back to where Drake had been with Stacy, as she smiled looking at Drake.

Bella: There may be some problems with the drugs you were giving... They only worked part way, he doesn't remember hurting her, but he's in love with her... You think the same will happen to Stacy when she wakes up?

She asked thinking about it...

He nodded and smiled.

"They worked the way they were supposed to work. This is what is best for them both."

Bella smiled as she was glad it went how he was wanting as she was sitting there thinking about it.  She smiled when they got there, as they got out of the car and headed inside, as she walked with Drake.

Bella: I'm glad things will be , alright now...

He slid his arms around her and kissed her softly.

"Everything is going to be just perfect now. I promise."

She smiled as she was happy about that.

Bella: Good.

She said as she kissed him softly...

He took her hand and led her inside where BD had already found Stacy. He smiled as they watched the two of them for a few minutes.

"See?"

She smiled as she was thinking about it, as she was glad to see them this way.

Bella: I have full faith in you , love.

She said as she was thinking about it.

He kissed her softly.

"You didn't always. There was a time when you really didn't like me."

She looked at him when he said that as she was thinking about it.

Bella: That's when I was just living on my own.  I was a very sheltered girl.

She said as she was thinking about it.

He smiled softly.

"And now you are my girl. I don't plan on letting that ever change."

She smiled warmly as she looked at him as she was thinking about it.

Bella: I'll always be your girl.

She said kissing him softly...

He was happy to hear that.

"I love you, Bella."

He looked at the woman and grinned.

"My mistake, ma'am. I should have been watching where I was going."

Colin looked at Faye and grinned.

"She's a cute one."

He listened to her and smiled.

"Name, relationship status? I need details here, young lady."

He put his arm around Faye's shoulders and grinned.

"You're going to put in a good word for your favorite uncle, right?"

He was on his way back to the farm when his truck started to act up. He pulled to the side of the road and sighed.

"Great. Way to ruin a good day."

He looked up at her and grinned when he saw who it was.

"Belt broke. Need a ride into town to pick up a new one."

He climbed into her car and smiled.

"Thank you so much. It's a long walk back to town."

He looked over at her smiling.

"I'm Colin Sweet by the way."

He nodded smiling.

"I made Faye tell me everything. I know you are also her neighbor and that you are going out to dinner with me tonight."

He smiled as he looked at her.

"You are too sweet to say no."

He smiled as he opened the door.

"I'll only be a few minutes, if you wouldn't mind driving me back to my truck."

He ran in and got the replacement belt he was needing. He knew it would only take a few minutes to change and he had the tools in the back of the truck.

Once they were back on their way to the truck he looked at her and smiled.

"Thank you for helping me out. I really appreciate it."

He finished the belt and smiled as he closed the hood.

"Pick you up in a couple hours? It will give me time to clean up and change."
